Muna Wais Fidhin enrolled her business M5 Café in the Federal Child Nutrition Program under the sponsorship of Feeding Our Future in 2020. In 2021 she also enrolled nonprofit M5 Care under a separate sponsor. She fraudulently claimed to serve 500 children/day, 7 days/week across two sites, billing for 300,000+ meals never served and claiming approximately $1 million in reimbursements. Funds used for mortgage payoff, car purchase, lifestyle, and overseas wire transfers.
