The Kitchen restaurant chain and the Big Green nonprofit — which installs garden-based learning programs in schools — form his philanthropic operating base. ¹

Records show that Kimbal Musk's social contact with Jeffrey Epstein ran from at least September 2012 through February 2013, with indirect contact documented through April 2017 via Boris Nikolic. ³ The documented sequence is as follows.

On September 21, 2012, Kimbal emailed Boris Nikolic: "Let Jeffrey and his friends know they are invited tomorrow night — Four Seasons, 7pm, black tie." ⁴ Nick Pritzker attended the same event, which was also Kimbal's birthday. ⁹

On October 7, 2012, Kimbal lunched at Epstein's Manhattan residence. ⁵ The logistics were coordinated between Epstein's assistant Lesley Groff and Kimbal's assistant Karla Shaw; the meeting was moved from noon to 11:30 a.m. to accommodate Kimbal's 3 p.m. departure from LaGuardia. ¹⁰¹¹ Boris Nikolic was also invited. ¹²¹³

On January 24, 2013, Epstein emailed Kimbal: "you are invited to the island for a couple of days, come relax." ⁶ Kimbal declined the same day, citing European travel plans and writing: "Maybe in the spring." ¹⁴ His reply included the phrase "say hi to Jennifer for me," indicating familiarity with at least one named person in Epstein's circle. ¹⁴

On February 13, 2013, Boris Nikolic forwarded to Epstein a personal email Kimbal had sent Nikolic on February 9. ¹⁵ Kimbal had written: "I'm now divorced! Free to live my life. Talking to \[name redacted] again." ¹⁶ Analysis of the broader record also indicates that Epstein connected Kimbal with a woman Kimbal subsequently dated, and that Boris reported Kimbal and Elon's attendance at TED 2017 to Epstein in April of that year. ³
