Co-occurrence analysis shows Waitt documents also mention: Darren Indyke (Epstein lawyer), Epstein, Kevin Maxwell (Ghislaine brother), Prince Andrew, Jack Kidd, Grace Fodor, Arthur Mornington.

They attended Chelsea Clinton wedding 2010 together. Maxwell used Waitts name to gain access to Silicon Valley power players. Eric Schmidt (Google CEO) met Maxwell through Waitt at a Clinton-linked event. Relationship ended due to blackmail attempts by Miami lawyer Scott Rothstein over Epstein civil lawsuits.

According to Daily Beast reporting, Eric Schmidt (Google CEO) met Maxwell through Waitt at an event linked to the Clintons. Maxwell leveraged Waitts name to gain access to Silicon Valley power players including Jeff Bezos. Some VIPs claimed they were introduced to Maxwell by Waitt, whose name lent her cachet. Maxwell, Chelsea Clinton, and husband Marc Mezvinsky flew together on a private plane with Waitt for a yacht trip.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer sent letter to Theodore Ted W. Waitt on March 3, 2026 requesting transcribed interview on April 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Waitt is one of seven people called (alongside Bill Gates, Leon Black, Kathryn Ruemmler, and others). Committee states Waitt has information to assist investigation into Epstein/Maxwell. He is not accused of wrongdoing.

FBI WFO Squad CR05 memo (EFTA00129096, April 3 2025, OPERATION TRIP KNOT, OCDETF) states: WAITT was the broker of the introduction between deceased convicted sex offender JEFFREY EPSTEIN and billionaire BILL GATES. This is in context of vetting Tim Draper for ARMS Reach (proximity to POTUS). The memo also identifies Waitt as a member of the Foresight Institute alongside convicted Chinese spy Charles Lieber.

Conflicting accounts on Epstein-Gates introduction: FBI memo credits Waitt but public reporting credits Melanie Walker and Boris Nikolic

The FBI ARMS Reach memo (EFTA00129096) states Waitt was the broker of the Epstein-Gates introduction. However, extensive public reporting (NYT, Fortune, Rolling Stone) credits Melanie Walker (Gates Foundation director who knew Epstein since 1992, introduced to him by Donald Trump) and Boris Nikolic (Gates chief science adviser) as the intermediaries who facilitated the first Gates-Epstein meeting on Jan 31, 2011. These accounts may not be mutually exclusive -- Waitt may have played an upstream role introducing Epstein into the circles that eventually led to Walker and Nikolic facilitating the direct meeting. The FBI memo represents an intelligence assessment, not necessarily a claim about a single dinner introduction.
