He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at CNH Industrial, the Fiat/Stellantis subsidiary that encompasses agricultural and industrial machinery worldwide, and held board seats at IVECO SpA, Maserati SpA, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. He appeared alongside UK Prime Minister David Cameron at a CNH event in 2012 and chaired the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK from 2003 until his resignation in February 2026. The earliest documented contact between Teodorani-Fabbri and Epstein dates to October 2009, when Lesley Groff noted "Eduardo Teodorani has called again for you" 1. The relationship escalated rapidly. By the summer of 2010, Teodorani visited Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico from August 10 to 13, accompanied by his partner Davina de Forest. While Teodorani was at the ranch, Epstein emailed Peter Mandelson, the former UK Business Secretary: "eduardo tedodorani and annabel nielson, are here at ranch with me." The documentary record shows at least three brokered relationships following a similar pattern: Teodorani made the initial introduction, Epstein evaluated the commercial potential, and the relationship was then managed through Epstein's executive assistants.
The best-documented was Ugo Brachetti Peretti, co-owner of Anonima Petroli Italiana (API), one of Italy's oldest petroleum companies. Teodorani introduced Brachetti Peretti to Epstein, and both appeared at Epstein's July 19, 2014 Paris party alongside former IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn. Within weeks, Brachetti Peretti sent Epstein a corporate presentation 6 and began requesting introductions to "your arab friend" for a potential partnership 7. Epstein brokered a March 2015 Paris lunch between Brachetti Peretti and Ariane de Rothschild, the Swiss financier. According to Italian outlet Dagospia, Epstein demanded a verbal-only agreement for "5% of all money received" as his brokerage fee. API was eventually sold to Azerbaijan's SOCAR for approximately 3 billion EUR in 2025.
The second documented introduction involved Paolo Barletta, CEO of Gruppo Barletta/Barletta Costruzioni, one of Italy's major real estate developers, who also co-founded Arsenale SpA luxury rail cruises with Nicola Bulgari. Teodorani first forwarded Barletta's "U-First" startup pitch to Epstein in August 2015; Epstein declined but said "always send me alternatives" 8. The third figure was Prince Fabio Borghese, whom Teodorani described as a "collector of women" according to Italian press reports. Social Introductions Involving Women
Beyond business introductions, DOJ documents show a pattern of Teodorani-Fabbri and Epstein exchanging social introductions involving young women, flowing in both directions. On September 22, 2013, Epstein emailed Teodorani: "eduardo, my great and very beautiful friend yfke that i have copied on this email, now lives in london, i think you two should meet" 11. In January 2014, Teodorani forwarded an email from Karyna Pshenychna to Epstein containing a romantic Italian aphorism: "La vera genialita non e conquistare una donna gia desiderata da tutti, ma scovarne una preziosa in un essere ignoto" -- "True genius is not conquering a woman already desired by all, but discovering a precious one in an unknown being" 12. In November 2017, Teodorani told Epstein about Astrid Gill Casrez, describing her as "one of the smartest woman that I know" and noting "she is trying to call you now." Epstein replied: "she can email me or call anytime" 13.
Scheduling records show temporal overlaps. On June 12, 2013, Groff noted "Eduardo Teodorani on Thursday June 13" alongside "Lola Mignon to arrive around 8pm on Thurs June 13" 14, scheduling a woman's arrival on the same evening as Teodorani's visit. In August 2013, Teodorani forwarded Love Magazine photos of model Alana Bunte from "on the boat," prompting Epstein's reply "lucky you" 15. Italian press identified Teodorani and Brachetti Peretti as "Italian intermediaries" who attempted to recruit model Chiara Baschetti from Cesena for Epstein in 2015-2016, offering an exclusive dinner with Woody Allen in Paris as the lure; Baschetti declined all advances.
On March 1, 2019, when Teodorani wrote to Epstein: "Master we wait the good ankle bambina with another good friend of your choice!!! Peninsula will be our party HQ tonight!" In Italian, "bambina" means "girl," while "good ankle" appears to reference physical appearance. Teodorani's use of "Master" as a form of address for Epstein, combined with the request for Epstein to choose which women to bring, suggests a deferential tone from Teodorani toward Epstein, though the full context of their dynamic is not captured in the available records.
Epstein and the Agnelli Fortune
While Teodorani-Fabbri provided Epstein with access to Italian society, Epstein simultaneously worked to exploit the broader Agnelli financial structure through separate channels. On April 19, 2015, Epstein emailed "Jabor Y" (likely Jabor Al-Thani of Qatar): "shabaz could look at the details of EXOR. the owner of cushman, agnelli family holding. they just bid for an re insurance co last week, they will spin off ferrari this year. and will have fiat chrysler.maserati. most of their money is liquid. 15billion or so" 16. Analysis of the EFTA corpus suggests Epstein may have drawn on his Teodorani relationship for familiarity with the Agnelli corporate structure, which he then shared with Gulf contacts.
On the same day, a contact emailed Epstein about John Elkann, the CEO of EXOR and de facto head of the Agnelli dynasty: "has heard great things about him from a friend; I know that he is Lapo's brother.. what do you think?" The contact then wrote: "I think he is the new target. How do we meet him? Not through Edu for sure" 17. "Edu" is Eduardo Teodorani-Fabbri. The decision to bypass Teodorani suggests that Epstein's circle understood Teodorani's position was as a useful but limited access point -- sufficiently connected to provide intelligence and social introductions, but not positioned closely enough to the Elkann branch to broker a direct approach to the family's real power center without raising alarms.
Epstein's interest in the Agnelli world extended to culture and property. In January 2018, he asked "what was the name of the house in the agnelli movie" 18, referring to a documentary. By May 2018, he was requesting floor plans for Chateau de l'Horizon, the Agnelli family's famous Cote d'Azur property, from Ariane de Rothschild, telling his architect about using it as inspiration. WRM Group and the Vatican Connection
At some point between 2015 and 2018, Teodorani-Fabbri transitioned from CNH Industrial to WRM Group, an FCA-regulated investment firm headquartered at 51 Berkeley Square, London, founded in 2009 by Raffaele Mincione. WRM Capinvest Ltd (UK company 07990219, formerly Capital Investment Advisors Ltd) operates as the group's advisory arm. The transition is documented through Karen Wolleaston's email signatures: earlier correspondence bears the CNH Industrial address, while a February 2019 signature reads "Karen Wolleaston, EA to Eduardo Teodorani Fabbri, WRM Group, Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, 51 Berkeley Square, London W1J 5BB" 20.
Mincione is the principal defendant in the Vatican's financial scandal, which centered on the Secretariat of State's investment of approximately 200 million EUR in Mincione's Athena Global Opportunities Fund and the subsequent purchase of 60 Sloane Avenue, a London property. The Vatican trial, which began in 2021, involved charges of embezzlement, fraud, and abuse of office. Teodorani's role as Senior Advisor at WRM Group alongside Mincione places him within a firm that intersects Italian finance, British corporate structures, and investment advisory work. He also served as Director of Margherita Distribuzione SpA, a hypermarket company whose CEO Carlo Maggi was simultaneously a WRM Group executive.

A separate thread emerged from Epstein's January 28, 2019 query to Teodorani: "Allesandro benedetti?" 22. This terse one-line email asked about Alessandro Benedetti, the Italian figure linked to a sabotage campaign against SoftBank executives carried out on behalf of Rajeev Misra. The timing is notable: just two days earlier, on January 26, Epstein had emailed Brad Karp, Chairman of Paul Weiss, calling Carlos Ghosn "a very very not good guy" and then asking "Rajeev misra do you represent?" Karp replied: "Sort of. Spoke to him yesterday." Within 48 hours, Epstein's correspondence touched three threads -- the Ghosn arrest, Misra and SoftBank, and Benedetti -- apparently turning to Teodorani for information on the Italian side of the equation. Both Teodorani and Benedetti appeared on Epstein's September 2013 Paris contact list 23, suggesting they may have traveled in overlapping Italian social circles in France.
The Benedetti query also intersects with the structural difference between the Agnelli and De Benedetti industrial dynasties. The De Benedetti family, rivals to the Agnellis, later sold their media group GEDI to the Elkann-controlled EXOR. The February 2026 release of the DOJ Epstein files prompted extensive Italian media coverage of Teodorani-Fabbri's connection to Epstein. Italian press focused on several elements: the "bambina" message and its implications, Teodorani's role as a named intermediary in the attempted recruitment of model Chiara Baschetti, the luxury real estate intelligence Teodorani provided, and the implications for the Agnelli dynasty. Teodorani-Fabbri resigned from his position at the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK in February 2026, ending a tenure of more than two decades.
The timing of these revelations coincided with a significant family transition. Maria Sole Agnelli died on December 26, 2025, at age 100. She had held an estimated 11.2-12.3% of Giovanni Agnelli B.V., the Dutch vehicle controlling EXOR, a stake worth a substantial portion of the family's 13.5 billion USD fortune. Teodorani-Fabbri's inheritance of responsibility for this stake, combined with the reputational damage from the Epstein revelations, coincides with a period of reputational scrutiny resulting from the Epstein file releases.
